I did buy this book in Ireland, six years ago, but because of lack of space in my luggage, when it was time to return home, I left it behind. I did started it six years ago, but stopped reading it soon after -  I can't remember why. Anyway, with christmas approaching soon, I thought I give this book a try, again. It's one of the most popular christmas stories and I loved it ever since, thanks to many wonderful tv adaptions. 

I need some help to get in the right mood for christmas. It arrived so suddenly this year, you find me very surprised in a way. This book will hopefully help me, to get into a festive mood.

With this book, anyother year of my reading challenge ends. In a few weeks, a new challenge starts, with many new books...Happy reading!
