christmas tree hunt.

One of my favourite things around christmas time is to get a christmas tree. When I was a child, and my mum was still married to my dad,  we used to have a plastic tree with fake snow on it. Back then, I was delighted and very excited to open the box. But since my mum knows my stepdad, we buy a real tree for christmas. At first, we went to one of the serveral places, where they're offering already cutted christmas trees. 

This wasn't enough for my stepdad. He wanted to go to the woods/ to places, where you can cut your tree yourself. And since two years, we go for a christmas tree hunt with friends of us. It is so much fun, wandering around all the beautiful trees, which makes it hard to decide for the "right" one. You watch other people carry different kinds of  trees, thinking how beautiful they are and wishing, to find one as beautiful as theirs.  In the end, we always find one which is just perfect for us and we are always very happy and proud of our tree. The only thing that was missing, was snow (like we had last year). We had terribly foggy days, paired with rain and temperatures around ten degrees. This makes it hard to feel thechristmas spirit.
